Panama intends to negotiate a free trade agreement with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), according to Minister of Commerce and Industry, Roberto Henriquez. On December 20, Minister Enriquez ordered that an outline be created for the negotiations. The EFTA consists of Austria, Denmark, Britain, Norway, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland.
Multinational and international companies looking to be among the first to take advantage of this new trade regime should look into Panama Pacifico. Approximately 26 hectares.
The site features 1,500 hectares (3,707 acres) of land, one of the largest extensions on Isla del Rey, with exuberant tropical vegetation and abundant fresh water and rich soil.
