In addition to the many incentives for investing in Panama, its growing tourism industry attracted 1.6 million tourists in 2010, and Tocumen International Airport continues to be its main port of entry.
As the approach to landing at the airport begins, passengers will be able to see the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower, a uniquely designed building located in one of the city’s most upscale areas, Punta Pacifica, and facing the Pacific Ocean. It is scheduled to be inaugurated in mid-June.
The TOC is a mixed-use project featuring a hotel, condominiums, shops, offices, restaurants and a number of luxurious amenities, including its exclusive beach club. It is also the tallest and most outstanding building that visitors will see as they arrive in the city from the airport. Panama is the location of the first international project by Donald Trump, and it is expected that more Trump projects will be carried out in Latin America.
Panama’s features, benefits and opportunities have also attracted many investors from Latin America who are seeking better returns on their investments as well as to expand their coverage in the region.
