On Saturday evening in London, CB Richard Ellis was named the “World’s Best” property consultant for 2010 based on the judgment of an independent panel of experts from across the real estate industry.

The award was presented at the International Property Awards—one of the foremost industry awards competitions globally—held in association with Bloomberg Television and the New York Times. To earn this global award, CBRE was selected over top-scoring regional firms from Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, Arabia and the Americas. We were also the winner of the award for the best property consultancy in London, which qualified us for consideration for the overall international award.

Judges for this year’s awards included the heads of several international industry associations as well as Google UK’s head of property markets. Our ability to think innovatively and to help our clients succeed in a difficult market cycle were key factors in our being chosen for the top global award.
